Though many Lyonnaise would hate to hear it, for me Lyon is as near as you'll get to a "mini-Paris", with similar architecture and a beautiful city river; I liked this city a lot.

I arrived early morning, just as an extremely thick fog was forming; an excellent lighting condition for taking portraits due reduced shadows.
